Fulfillment.com (FDC) is an ecommerce order fulfillment and storage provider created in 2011 by Vanguard Economics, LLC. Originally known as “At Cost Fulfillment”, FDC has 3PL fulfillment sites both in the United States and internationally to ensure fast and efficient shipping to a wide customer base.
Being a large company, Fulfillment.com covers almost all services needed for product storage and fulfillment. The company’s foundational three pillars, “High Touch, High Tech, and Transparency” are upheld through their dedicated Success Managers and centralized management system with no hidden fees or costs.
A deposit fee of $1500 is required to begin receiving services, but there is no account set up fee. Product storage for Amazon sales costs no more than $0.47/cubic foot/month from January through December, unlike Amazon who charges increased peak season warehousing fees. Fulfillment pricing is specifically listed on the site, and it varies depending on the product size and weight, packaging materials, and shipping locations. However, clients can submit fulfillment details and receive a free quote through FDC’s website.
Fulfillment.com has four facilities in strategic locations across the United States. By using all four locations, you can reach any region of the United States in 1-2 days. If you aren’t looking to use multiple facilities, their main location in Savannah, Georgia reaches the continental U.S. population in 1-3 days.
Facilities in the United States are located in Salt Lake City, Kansas City, Breinigsville, and Savannah, so products can be shipped efficiently to any region of the U.S. Fulfillment.com also has facilities in the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, and Australia so clients can reach customers worldwide.
Fulfillment.com offers a wide array of services. FDC covers all the standard fulfillment needs by offering storage, picking, packaging, and shipping services across all fulfillment locations.
Fulfillment.com’s cloud-based management system allows for you to select appropriate packaging and returns procedures for their products. Inventory and order information is available through this system as well, so you can always monitor your products. Fulfillment.com also has FDA registered warehouses for food grade warehousing, access to depletion rates, and dedicated Success Managers to ensure your business is fully accommodated.
Fulfillment.com uses an integrated Order Management and Warehouse Management system called BestOMS. BestOMS is a cloud-based ecommerce order management system that allows you to track inventory, order data, depletion rates, and reports. Clients can also view, edit, reorder, and create new orders through the same system. BestOMS is also updated frequently to ensure inventory and product information is always up to date.
BestOMS also contains all your business’s financial information. An accounting page is included on BestOMS that breaks down fees per order and provides monthly statements. Billing reports and data can also be downloaded from BestOMS to enter into your business’ accounting software.
Selling through multiple sites and channels is also possible through BestOMS. Fulfillment.com is integrated with over 70 platforms, marketplaces, and websites, so you have a large variety of options for where your products can be sold.
Fulfillment.com covers almost every standard fulfillment service needed to store and distribute products, and managing your inventory is made easy with BestOMS. Having a centralized management system makes monitoring financials and product information as painless as possible.
Fulfillment.com has many services that are appealing to those looking to grow their business. FDC has international distribution centers which would allow you to expand your business globally. Expansion is further facilitated by a personal “Success Manager” that handles order management, BestOMS training, and overall business advice. Fulfillment.com even includes a free e-commerce education video to help customers learn more about e-commerce from industry experts.
Those who are looking to distribute or manufacture health and beauty products are also eligible for FDC’s services due to their FDA registered warehouses and alliances with cGMP certified manufacturers.
Fulfillment.com is also an attractive choice due to their large number of integrations. Major platforms and companies such as Walmart.com, eBay, and Amazon are integrated into BestOMS, so your business can be integrated onto larger platforms. For those already using Amazon, FDC offers fulfillment and storage services at a lower cost than Fulfillment by Amazon.
Though promising no hidden costs or fees, Fulfillment.com does not offer clear pricing for each of their services on their website. This makes it difficult for you to gauge how much you would pay for their services without going through the steps of requesting a quote.
Another potentially large “con” for smaller businesses and startups looking for fulfillment services – the company is a large fulfillment company and focuses on high volume fulfillment customers. By looking at their homepage with the slogan, “High Volume Worldwide E-commerce Fulfillment,” you can tell that they are interested in attracting merchants that ship high volumes of orders. Generally speaking, companies with a great deal of locations are usually larger and have a higher volume minimum requirement.
The majority of reviews for Fulfillment.com were positive across all three platforms. Although there is positive feedback from FDC customers, there are few reviews that had been made within the last year.

The attentive staff and overall ease of working with FDC was praised frequently across all three sites. On Google and Trust Pilot, however, there were negative reviews concerning FDC shipping without client authorization and inventory issues at the United Kingdom facility, but a Fulfillment.com representative responded to each rating with clarification on their end.
Fulfillment.com is an efficient and easy to use fulfillment company for established and growing businesses. FDC provides ample customer support and allows for their clients to customize how products are distributed and handled.
